What is the carbon belt

Carbon tape is a consumable used in barcode printers, which is a polyester film coated with wax, resin or mixed ink on one side. A lubricant is applied to the ink-free side to prevent wear on the print head. Under the heat and pressure of the print head of the barcode printer, the ink on the carbon belt will be transferred to the label, forming text and barcode information.

Carbon belts are mainly divided into the following categories:
