1. The red light is on during printing

Reason: The sensor of the barcode label printer does not sense the paper or does not sense the ribbon, so the machine needs to measure the paper again.

Solution: First check whether the paper Settings in the barcode printing software are consistent with the printer label paper, and set the printer to shut down for retesting the paper or initializing the printer. Initialization method: First turn off the machine, then hold down the PAUSE and FEED two keys and turn on until the three display lights flash once at the same time to initialize the machine, then shut down, hold down the PAUSE key to start the test paper, wait until the machine out of the paper before letting go (different brands of printers may be different).

2, the printing process appears to skip paper

Reason: This phenomenon occurs because the machine fails to detect the paper or the paper is not properly made.

Solution: First check whether the label size is set correctly in the software, if there is no problem, reload the paper and check the printer.

3, in the printing process, the paper is normal, but the printing can not print things.

Reason: the carbon belt is installed incorrectly, or the printing method is selected incorrectly (such as thermal transfer paper, the printer chooses the thermal printing method).

Solution: Check the carbon tape, install the carbon tape according to the instructions, open the printer preferences, the thermal paper printing method is selected thermal, and the thermal transfer paper printing method is selected in the thermal transfer.

4. The print is not clear

Cause: The print Settings are not set properly or the print head is dirty.

Solution: First check whether the print head is dirty, clean the print head (note: when cleaning the print head, be sure to turn off the printer power first, otherwise the print head is easily damaged), and then set the printing temperature or change a font to try (font bold). If not, it may be that the quality of the printed ribbon or label paper is too poor, replace the good ribbon and label paper.
